DETAILS OF INSTITUTION

Satyendranath Basu Educational Society- a private school was established in the year of 2002 in a wonderful schooling environment. Sri Bimal Chandra Ghosh was the main initiator and founder member for this institution. The primary motto of the school/ institute was to develop the village regions, outside the city Krishnanagar, through continuous progress and improvement of the education/ literacy amongst young generation.

To fulfill this purpose, Nadia PTTI had taken the lease of Austin House, a property of Krishnanagar Catholic Mission Authority, situated at 170, Don Bosco Road, Krishannagar, Nadia. All the infrastructural and other measurements were completed to make it as a school and there after the preparation got started for the affiliation from the concerned authority. Legal procedures on this issue continued for long time and after so many days of the legal proceedings, the central organization N.C.T.E was appealed for the affiliation. N.C.T.E. has completed their inspection and this was satisfactory and successful.

The affiliation for the school is expected in very near future.

Now, the school authority is under process for appointing good, skilled and educated teachers. A continuous focus will be there to develop the literacy and overall improvement of the back ward classes after the school gets its affiliation and the process will be implemented as well.

MANAGEMENT

The institution has a tremendous scope to offer the learners a vast store of knowledge. It is totally a self-financed institution the university department of which is undertaken by “West Bengal Board of Primary Education”.
